About

Finding the right summer camp for 7 year olds wasn’t as easy as I thought. Some were too intense, others felt like babysitting with snacks. What finally worked was a place that mixed structure with freedom. My son came home talking about nature walks, building crafts, and how he made his own sandwich. He was excited—not exhausted. What I loved most was seeing him build confidence without pressure. If you’re searching for a camp that actually meets kids where they’re at—not where adults think they should be—trust your gut. Ask real questions. And don’t assume the loudest ads mean the best experience.
